Elizabeth Athens


Elizabeth Athens is a curator and art historian with research interests in the display and interpretation of the art of empire, as well as in the history of museums and museum collections. She has developed exhibitions and collections programs at the Worcester Art Museum and has contributed to major projects at the National Gallery of Art, the Yale Center for British Art, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She received her PhD in art history from Yale University.
